Russian Army Spetsnaz VDV Uniform Camo Suit Bekas Beryozka KLMK
Improved Russian Paratrooper (VDV) summer uniform suit.
BEKAS Camouflage BDU Jacket is one of the newer designs used by the Russian Special Forces today as well as elite anti-terrorist units of the former Soviet Union Republics.
OMON, SOBR, Alpha, Vityaz and other special detachments of Speznaz have selected Bekas as their preferred military uniform due to high quality, versatility, durability and effectiveness in the field.
Berezka camo pattern dates back to WWII and the origin can be found in the first German Camo Patterns.
Berezka means Birch Tree and the camo itself is very effective for the Northern European terrain.
BEKAS Camouflage BDU Jacket was also one of the first digital camo patterns adopted for wide use.
In Russia, the pattern was used primarily by VDV - paratrooper divisions.
Bekas Berezka BDU has seen many conflicts - from Chechnya and Bosnia, to Georgia and Iraq.
BEKAS Camouflage BDU Jacket has following distinctive features:
Jacket is equipped with a zipper for convenience
Armpit areas have mesh inserts for better ventilation and climate control
Elbows are reinforced for extra strengh and durability
2 chest pockets have built in zippers
Internal pocket is waterproof
Bekas jackets have shoulder epaulettes to attach insignia
Adjustable waist band.
Pants:
Crotch area has mesh insert for better ventilation and climate control
Knees are reinforced for extra strength and durability
There is a built in gaiter with strap for keeping debris out of the boot style
Pant has a stretchable band at the bottom to fit snuggly over the boot.
PLEASE NOTE: THE SUIT LOOKS PADDED AND WARM ON THE PICTURE. BUT IT IS DECEIVING. THE SUIT IS REGULAR SPRING/SUMMER. IT IS NOT VERY WARM.
