Crew: 197 people.

The history of the ship:
Patrol boat pr.1135M

The first in a series of frigate pr.1135 became a member of the Fleet in December 1970. New car compared to its predecessors had higher seaworthiness. He had three times as much tonnage, armament was also stronger, which gave him a high combat stability when operating in the marine zone.

Project 1135 "Petrel" appeared as if at the crossroads of two trends in the evolution of anti-submarine ships of our Navy - Small (Projects 159 and 35) and large (Project 61). At that time, the Soviet navy out of the world's oceans, and its main task was considered to struggle with nuclear-powered submarines of the potential enemy. It was then created the first ocean-going anti-submarine ships - the cruiser, helicopter, BOD and BOD 1 rank 2 rank. But their high cost has forced management to complement the arsenal of anti-navy forces on smaller displacement and less expensive ships near zone, able to operate at the same time and in remote areas of the ocean.

Initially, the development of future spacecraft tasked Zelenodolsk KB (at the time - CDB-340). Meanwhile, the industry has begun to develop new means of anti-submarine warfare - raketotorpednogo complex "Blizzard" and very sophisticated for its time, hydroacoustic stations "Vega" and "Titan". The combination of sonar and towed podkilnoy promised to increase the detection range of submarines in the three times and consistently keep in contact with the submarine at ranges up to 100 IPA. All this infuriated future patrol boat to a qualitatively new level, but at the same time entailed a significant increase in tonnage. And as CDB-340 is traditionally specialized in the creation of small warships, project transferred to Leningrad in CDB-53 (later North PKB). Chief designer was appointed NP Sobolev, mostly watching from the Navy - IM Stetsyura. General management exercised the chief of CDB-53, VE Yuhnin.

Tactical and technical requirements (TTZ) for the development of the project was issued in 1135 the fleet in 1964. The main purpose of the patrol ship - "a long patrol in order to find and destroy enemy submarines and escort ships at sea." Originally TTZ provided the following armament: one PLRK, one 533-mm pyatitrubny TA for anti-submarine torpedoes, two RBU-6000, a SAM "Wasp" and two twin 76mm gun mounts. As the primary means of submarine detection sonars assumed "Titan". Displacement limited quantity of 2,100 tons, but after the final approval as PLRK complex "Blizzard" it had to be increased up to 3200 m. This, in turn, allowed to put two and two TA SAM "Wasp", and means to supplement sonar towed sonar " Vega. " In addition, at the design stage proviso possibility of replacing the 76-mm guns to 100 mm.

For the first time on the ships of this class to be placed automated combat information center (BIP), a prototype of future combat information and control systems (CICS) on the lead ship was even open state officer of the calculator. In general, the ship and in size, and capabilities so outgrown their "classmates" that it is already at the design stage reclassified as BOD. Once again the class of ships of project 1135 the TFR was returned only in June 1977.

Architecture hull of the project in 1135 stood long forecastle, rounded contours, kliperskim bow, a large collapse of the frames in the bow, stern and flat low building down by the nose. A set of case mix, the ratio of length to width - 8.6. The characteristic feature of the contours of - small-angle taper waterlines. Case - steel grade MC-35, 13 bulkheads of steel divide it into 14 watertight compartments. It is estimated that the ship was afloat in case of flooding or three adjacent five non-contiguous sections. Deck and superstructure bulkheads inside the premises are made of aluminum-magnesium alloy AMG-61.

Premises and accommodation are located on the main deck under the forecastle. There are cabins officers and warrant officers, galley and dining sailor. On the main deck passes through the corridor from Utah in the nose, around the mines razdvaivayas SAM. The aft room is Bugas "Vega" with the original lifting device standpipe POUKB-1. This development Zelenodolsk PKB provides opening and closing the transom cover, immersion in water, towing, lifting and installation of a regular place in the body of the towed sonar to move the ship at least 9 knots.

The diameter of the circulation of the ship - 4.3 IPA for 130 at a speed of 32 knots. Prowl - no more than 2 . The inertia of the full speed to a stop - 1940 m for the 524. The initial transverse metacentric height is 1.4 m. The greatest heeling moment - 85 , reserve buoyancy - 6450 m. The angle of decline of the static stability curve - 80 .

Seaworthiness "Eleven-thirty fifth" is commendable. The ship rises well to the wave; zalivaemost zabryzgivaemost and at all speeds is practically absent. Small zabryzgivaemost aft deck was observed only at speeds over 24 knots and circulation at course angle of 90 to the wave. Seaworthiness promote the use of all weapons at all speeds at sea state up to four points without stabilizers and more than five points from their inclusion.

Gas turbine power plant project in 1135 the TFR includes two units M7K, each of which consists of a march of a gas turbine and a single reheat DO63 DK59. Boosters rated at 6000 hp mounted on overhead platforms. Afterburner rated at 18,000 hp Shaft connected to a airclutch. All gas turbines have the reverse. The novelty was marching gear console, you can work on both the shaft as both main engines and each engine separately. This improves the efficiency of GEMs by 25%.

Turbine start-up time from cold - less than three minutes. Full fuel - 450-550 tons, fuel consumption per mile on the feasibility speed (14 knots) - 100 kg, at the operational and economic (17 knots). - 143 kg, on a full (32.2 knots) - 390 kg. The average daily fuel consumption in the campaign - about 25 tons Cruising Range at full speed - 1290 miles, operational and economic - 3550 miles, Techno-economic - 5000 miles.

Propellers - a four-, low noise, variable pitch, with a fairing. The weight of each 7650 kg, a diameter of 3.5 m. The speed of rotation of propeller shaft - 320 rev / min.

In the design special attention was paid to reduce the physical fields of the ship and the level of interference to the CEO. Apply two-stage damping were the main mechanisms vibrodempfiruyuschie cover, installed the bubble cloud "shroud." As a result, the TFR of the project in 1135 had for its time a very low level of the acoustic field, and were most silent of the Soviet Navy surface ships.

The main weapon of the TFR project 1135 - managed anti-missile system URPK-4 "Blizzard" with an autonomous control system "Monsoon." The complex consists of a solid propellant rocket 85R of remote control with a warhead - homing ASW torpedo launchers, the ship's guidance system and automatic-launch.

Launchers CT-106 has four containers and are induced in the horizontal plane, which allows you to attack without maneuvering. Shooting URPK-4 is dvuhraketnymi volleys or single raketotorpedami filed its own CEO and external sources of targeting - ships, aircraft or sonobuoys at a range of 6 to 50 km. The system allows to adjust the trajectory of the rocket as a function of changing the current acoustic bearing on the target.

As the missile homing torpedo used 85R AT 2UM. At the command of naval torpedo control systems in the computational point where the submarine is separated from the rocket and alight on water with a parachute, then deepens, conducts search system circulation and homing strikes the target. Immersion depth of the torpedo AT 2UM - 400 m. The speed in search mode - 23 knots, in the mode of guidance - 40 knots. Range of course - 8 km. The radius of an active-passive response homing torpedoes - 1000 m, the mass of the explosive charge weight - 100 kg.

Further development of URPK-4 was set URPK-5 "bell" with raketotorpedoy 85RU, capable of striking not only underwater, but also surface targets (so try to compensate for the absence of anti-ship missiles). In this indication may come from all radar ship. Warhead raketotorpedy - torpedo UMGT - compared with AT-2UM has great speed and range homing response.

In addition to the complex URPK ships pr.1135 received two jet set bombometnye RBU-6000 "Cyclone-2".

The ship is equipped with two air defense missile system "Osa-M". Anti-aircraft missiles short range "Wasp" for the army and "Osa-M" for the Navy created by a single TTZ and no significant differences. Both versions use the SAM same 9M33 missile. The complex, in addition to the launcher, includes funds target tracking, missile sighting and filing instructions, a radar detection. Target detection range, flying at a height of 3.5 - 4 km, is about 25 km at high altitudes - up to 50 km. You can also receive and targeting of naval radar air surveillance. Coordinates identified goals coming into the system support for putting the antenna post on the bearing and dopoisku in elevation. The combination of modes of detection and capture reduces the response time set for 6 - 8.

After launching the first rocket rotates the drum, which provides access to the line of loading another rocket, and after starting second beam launchers are automatically vertically, turning to the nearest pair of drums, and the lifting of PP falls over the next couple of missiles. Time reloading setup - 16 - 21, rate of - 2 rds / min at air targets, 2,8 - at surface.

In 1973 he entered into service improved version of the SAM system "Osa-M2", and in 1979 - "Osa-MA". The latter has a minimum height lesions decreased from 60 to 25 m. In the first half of the 80s have been upgrading facilities to improve the fight against low-flying anti-ship missiles. Upgraded SAM "Osa-MA-2" can hit targets at altitudes of 5 m

Armament TFR Project 1135 - artkompleks AK-726-MR-105, consisting of two 76,2 mm automatic twin artustanovok AK-726. Beginning with the 22th ship of the complex series instead of AK-726-MR-105 mounted AK-100-MR-145 from two 100-mm artillery odnoorudiynyh AK-100.

On all the RCS uses two 533-mm torpedo tubes chetyrehtrubnyh CHTA-53-1135. Types used torpedoes - SET-65, or 53-65K. The aft deck has mined the rails, which can take 16 minutes IGDM-500, 12 or 14 CSM CRAB.

Speaking of the patrol pr.1135, their commanders often rare unanimity in the positive evaluation of these ships. All note the high reliability, manageability, seaworthiness, good living conditions. Minimal differences between the series of ships indicate that the optimal design. "Eleven-thirty fifth" certainly was a model of the most advanced technology of its time. The list of innovations applied on it is truly impressive: the original gas turbine power plant, marching gear attachment, podkilnaya and towed sonar, future SAM systems, the "long arm" to hunt for enemy nuclear submarines - PLRK "Blizzard" and much more.

Patrol ship "Pytlivy" was enrolled in the list of Navy ships, and 21.2.1979 27.6.1979 was laid on the slipway Baltic GCC "Yantar" in Kaliningrad (manufacturer's number # 169). Launched on 16.04.1981, entered into service 30/11/1981, and 02/09/1982, following the transition from mezhflotskogo Baltiisk in Sevastopol is included in the CFP.

30.05 - 03.06.1988 was paid a visit to the port of Algiers;
22.01 - 26.01.1991 - in Piraeus (Greece).

02.12.1989 took part in the provision of on the roads of La Valetta (Malta Fr.) working meeting of the CPSU Central Committee General Secretary MS Gorbachev and U.S. President George Bush.

In the period from 09/07/1993 to 1996 in the Baltic GCC "Amber" was renovated. 28.07.1996 took part in the international maritime parade in St. Petersburg, pocvyaschennom the 300th anniversary of the Russian Navy.

27.07.1997, the bank changed the Naval flag of the USSR at St. Andrew's. At the present time is in the Russian Black Sea Fleet, and is used extensively in military services.
